Terms of Service

1. What ProfileCraft does

ProfileCraft lets you create and maintain a professional profile and publish it as a portfolio website and downloadable resume. You decide what goes into your profile and whether it is public or private.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information. Impersonating another person or organisation is not permitted.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts for abusive purposes (e.g. squatting usernames).

3. Your content

• You own your content. Everything you add — text, images, certificates, project details — remains yours.
• You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute your content solely to operate the Service (for example, rendering your public portfolio page and generating your PDF resume). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
• If your profile is set to public, anyone with the link can view it and search engines may index it. You can switch it to private at any time in Settings.
• You are responsible for what you publish. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringes someone else's intellectual property.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes (without limitation): attempting to access other users' data; probing or breaking our security or rate limits; scraping profiles at scale; uploading malware; using the Service to send spam; or interfering with its normal operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Free service and changes

ProfileCraft is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans with additional features in the future; core functionality you rely on today will not be removed from existing free accounts without reasonable notice. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service, and will give notice of material changes where practical.

6. Termination and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. Deletion permanently removes your profile, content and images. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or create legal risk, with notice where reasonably possible.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep ProfileCraft reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for hiring decisions, ATS outcomes, or any third party's use of your public profile. Keep your own copies of important content.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IndicStudio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or ₹1,000 if you have paid nothing).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date; for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example by email or an in-app notice). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
